With so little going on in our lives yet so much, every now & then we lose perspective even lose purpose. And the cure to that from where I stand is “A RETREAT”.
Merriam Webster defines retreat as “the process of receding from a position or state attained.” So, who wouldn’t want that?! Who wouldn’t want to take the time to just cool off and recharge?!
Adding to the “who wouldn’t want” list of questions. Who wouldn’t want to have a permanent Home where you go for “A RETREAT”.
Take George Clooney for Example, he chose to purchase property in Laglio on lake Como, which is a beautiful place in Italy. At a press conference promoting one of his movies Clooney announced, "What changed my life in a very pleasant and unexpected way was buying the villa in Laglio,” when asked to explain he continued “At first that was a pure investment decision. I thought maybe I would spend a few weeks vacationing there. But then I realized how beautiful life was in Italy and how it really helped calm me and not feel so pressured.”
So, go ahead and tell me now, why not invest in your own retreat?!Doing this shouldn’t necessarily mean going very far away from home but it definitely means going somewhere that enhances your spirituality and peace of mind and would be even better if it was a place where u can call home.
Think proximity, think spirituality, think uniqueness, , Think IL Monte Galala! Your retreat just around the corner
Designed in the theme of those Italian lake side cities IL Monte Galala built on the Galala mountains in Sokhna promises to become another Como with a little bit extra when it becomes live in 2020 exclusively in Egypt. The houses are definitely a new style, sort of a fresh perspective of what architects can come up with in terms of creativity and ingenuity. On a personal note, I am very partial to the cabanas on the beach of the on-mountain crystal lagoon, which proved itself to be a fantastic architectural and structural achievement, as it represents the world’s first lagoon to be built on a mountain top. Who can battle such a retreat haa??I find it absolutely Ammmmazzzing to have a beach-side home on the mountain with a view of the sea. There is something very decadent about it.
When you think about Sokhna you automatically picture a nice quiet place with simple activities such as enjoying the sound of sea waves hugging the shore or absorbing the calming landscape, but what if I tell you that IL Monte has more to offer beyond beach life, Tatweer Misr the developer and mastermind behind IL Monte Galala had a certain vision. They went for a masterplan designed with a perfectly portrayed “All in One Concept”, representing a full integration of elements for its residence to reach the utmost levels of enjoyment and serenity.
IL Monte mountain resort experience encourages the concept of back to basics but with the bright side of technology, it has a 300 meters rule for maximum walking distance between the diverse options of transport offered all within the development. The idea of a retreat doesn’t include driving, so mobility and accessibility solutions are shown at their very best by Tatweer Misr and my personal favorite of all is the inclined elevators, like the ones you find in the mountains of Switzerland all with glass views allowing sun and air to cover your face adding more and more calmness to your day!
Adding to the unmatched, IL Monte’s mountain top base camp features diverse options that would be summarized in the words rope, climbing, Yoga and nature. All devised by our own world class mountaineer extraordinaire Omar Samra and it’s his first and only mountain base camp in Egypt.
“NAMASTE “will become a lifestyle at IL Monte Galala! The word is maybe used for greetings and starting and ending yoga sessions, but it will surely become a state of mind once you get to experience the immense number of amenities integrated at one place just for you. Spas and walks in the small cobble stone alleys of the Italian inspired old town are also part of the equation.
Serenity comes in so many ways, but I never expected that Tatweer Misr’s very own walk of fame or as they call it the “Art Spine” would have such a major effect on the People of IL Monte .Forget the breathtaking views and crystal waters all around you, this is so “old News”, let’s talk interactive modern art features that will embrace the inner photographer in you! Holy molly it’s Nirvana to those who are looking to entertain themselves in another fashion. As if the surrounding natural and architectural features are not enough of a background for those selfie addicts, the Art spine is a major cool playground of interactive or as they call it instagrammable elements that invite people to join in. I honestly don’t know how to describe them but let me tell you when it comes to that walk, age is really just a number! I can’t think of any age that will not be actively enjoying the walk, it’s not just the beautiful design or the view and all that God given stuff, very beautiful really, but 3D pictures drawn on the ground make you think you are literally going to walk down the stairs down there. Wall art is not just graffiti but encourages interaction and let me tell you, sitting on an awesome bench designed as a hat over your head, the furniture, the art and the surrounding area is a collection of interactive features that inspire fun and play. And again, I must say hats off to those guys at Tatweer Misr for coming up with concepts in design of pathways and stairs that takes ingenuity to another level.
IL Monte Galala, your very own retreat just around the corner! No wonder Why it’s an award-winning project as it gave each and every one of us a reason to look forward to 2020 indeed.
